Barry Ingram was a visionary and a creator who poured into those

around him. Barry spent his time building his company B.íng- most notably gaining worldwide

recognition with his inspirational clothing line Love Me Before They All Do. This collection, which centered around

spotlighting early stage entrepreneurs and creatives, spoke to his desire to give people the

recognition they deserved.

In addition to being a successful entrepreneur, Barry also understood the need to mentor others

and spent many hours giving his time to Bay Shore students. As a former Bay Shore student

himself, he loved coming back, giving back, and watching those coming up after him rise up and

find their own way of contributing to the world.

The Ingram family and its council select one recipient a school year to receive this scholarship. This is to give back and honor the legacy Barry has left with the school district.

The desired recipient is a student in their senior year who plans to or currently gives back to their community in the form of entrepreneurship or a form of creative expression. Grades as well as a short essay are needed in order to be considered a candidate. But the need, passion and heart of the student is heavily considered.
